help the new guy plz >me<

hi everyone strange
im new to this server
actually i've never played on a ms private server

i need help with starting up the game
i downloaded the file and installed it
but when i doubleclick on the icon to play
a patching screen pops up
then it says: your game version is too old, and cant be updated
reinstall a more recent version O_o
im new to this all so could you plz help me?
